Climate of India

There are three seasons in India - hot, moist and cold. A heat comes in north plains in February and becomes unbearable to April. The first signs of monsoon appear in May. At this time thunderstorms and humidity rises begin. Monsoon rains begin at the beginning of June on a distant south and aiming on a north engulf all territory of country to July. During a monsoon does not become cooler, but this time is large facilitation for farmers. Basic monsoons come from a south-west, but a south-east coast is taken by a moist north-eastern monsoon, which brings rains from middle of October to January. Basic monsoons are closed to October, and in December in the north cities of India at nights becomes freshly. On a south, where it's never coldly, at this time it's warmly and pleasantly.

The best time for a trip on India depends on a place, where you are sent, so gather, make out the Indian visa and forward. India is an enormous country: more than 3000 km from a north to the south and about 2000 km from west to east. A height above a sea level is varied from 0 to 8598 meters (Chogori in the north (on a border with China - 8611 m). A climate accordingly is very various. When a beach season (November) is only opened in Goa (on the coast of the Indian ocean), in The Himalayas snow lies already.

On the other hand, July - August, when on the south of India there is very hot and moistly, it's the best time for a trip on Ladakhu ( the region, lying on the Tibet Upland behind large Himalaya Backbone). In mountain regions the temperature of air and weather strongly depend on a height above a sea level.

In Sonth and Central India, it is recommended to ride in a season from July to September (rains, moistly, warmly + 25-30 C) and from October to March (dryly, coolly + 20-25*S), bad season from March to June (very hot, dryly + 35-45*S).
